Unbelievable this ...

... Especially considering yesterday’s blip, the fact that we are back in hospital with LongLegs, with a seemingly unrelated issue, is too ridiculous to fathom.

He phoned early this morning feeling really bad.

It turns out that he needs his appendix out. Although it’s a common-enough operation, because of his recent aortic surgery, it’s the anaesthetists who are deciding the action plan.

We wait. He gets hungrier and thirstier. His pain is magnified and he keeps being sick.

And he left a conference that he was really really enjoying. :-(

Poor poor LongLegs. We did have a couple of hours when the doctors were suspecting an aortic leak, so we are very grateful that it’s not that.
