Hairy female

It was nice to have a leisurely walk this morning in the relative warmth. The last few days have been too busy and too cold!
And it was a treat to see a Hairy woodpecker, rather than the diminutive Downy that I usually see on this particular walk.
I also saw a western scrub jay, but the angle of the sun compromised the shot. So now I have a new challenge - blip that scrub jay!
