Dawlish Water

I really felt as if I needed to see some running water today and I thought of this area that I'd been meaning to visit. This stream runs into Dawlish and through the park by the sea front.

The road fords the stream here and it didn't look all that promising when I arrived, with a concrete walkway to get people safely across when the water is high, but once down on the shingle it looked much better and on a sunny day should be nice. There are a few pretty thatched houses around here so It will be worth coming back on another occasion.
