THE LITTLE NAP I JUST HAD

did me good. Imagine, this early morning the alarm clock did wake us up at 5 o'clock. Due to the alarming masses of snow and the cold weather we had to depart so much earlier for our travel to the Weser Uplands. First what to do when the light rail to the Central Station should not turn up? What if the rail came but the Nederlandse Spoorwegen had a stripped schedule for travelling to Utrecht. Etc.
But Piet Hein and I had so much luck that we could see that from the North Sea to the Rheinhardswald the world was covered with white snow!!
At one moment when the scenery changed I suddenly felt an impulse to take photos even when the train had a fast tempo. The blip picture was the choice of us both.
We hope that we will have some other beautiful views during our stay here.

My haiku:

The fields white covered
And the bare trees brave and strong
They send a message

And the proverb:

Of good ill got, the third heir joyeth not.

The blossom or rather flowers on my yesterday's picture belong to the tree that is called: Prunus x subhirtella autumnalis from the family Rosaceae. This tree flowers in wintertime.
