GLORIOUS DAY AGAIN
that blue sky without clouds is overwhelming.
I took the picture of the blossom at the other side of our street, with snow still on it.
After that I walked around, eyes wide open to inhale the fresh air and seeing the trees and bushes heavy with snow. The snowfall of yesterday: 30 cm.
Piet Hein and I went then to the other end of The Hague where we had a delicious lunch at the home of dear friends. They have a pretty garden, now full of snow and I saw all the birds they feed.
My haiku:
Branches full of pink
Blossom flowers I cherish
If they fall on my head
And the proverb:
If you don't succeed with one blow don't hesitate to deliver two.
Harsh? Perhaps!
