Will It Be Any Better?

Only time will tell.

The decorations and tree came down this morning (only because we are going to visit no1 son and family for a few days).
We will be going off with a car load of 'stuff' …. presents and things being passed on from the monsters.

I actually remembered to hand over a gift for the wee girl a few doors down - a lidded pot I made …. after all, all little girls need somewhere to hide their special stuff.

My intension was to put some stuff away in the spare room - but I got distracted and ended up playing about with a small torch and the miniature grinding tips.

I was rather disgusted this afternoon when I found out the Loony Dook at South Queensferry has been taken over by the money grabbers at Underbelly.
£12 a ticket to be allowed to go for a swim in the Forth !!!!
They claim it is to organise and oversee it - and they give money to the RNLI (who actually do the safety coverage).
However, they only give a paltry £1 from each £12 collected.
Once again - a private company telling people what they can and can't do and charge extortionate money whilst taking away people's freedom.
I wonder how easy it would be to get a Human Rights case in front of the courts.

Damn it - it doesn't seem to be off to a better start.
