Day 1

The odd weather made for some interesting light today on my walk. It was hazy to the South (left in this image) and there were blue skies to the North. The leafless trees looked very black and the sun was either watery or not visible apart from those rays that break through the clouds.
I set my birding clock back to zero, and after adding the garden birds this morning, I was able to bump up my Day 1 list to 18 when I saw a Mistle Thrush and some Fieldfare as well as a Kestrel and a Buzzard..
