Hamilton Sqaure

A great start to 2020.  I went to Birkenhead to watch Coventry City play their first game of the year against Tranmere Rovers. We won 4-1, with striker Matty Godden scoring a hat-trick. This was quite remarkable as, just a few days ago, in the last game of 2019, we also won 4-1 against Wycombe Wanderers and Godden scored a hat-trick. A quiz question in future years.

To add to the joy, I briefly explored the centre of Birkenhead which is remarkably grand. Hamilton Square in particular is delightful.  I'll get some more pictures on Flickr tomorrow.
