Mild and Sunny

I don't recall a milder Hogmanay.   Sunny, clear blue skies....cold but terrific for the time of year.  Spent a little time this morning watching the birds in our garden.   We seem to be the only ones putting food out of late and the food disappears very quickly.

Friends arrived for lunch and we had a nice, short walk on the beach before sitting down to food and a chat.   P worked until 3.30pm - very busy again but he is now off for a few days.   

We had a quiet time - watched another episode of Chenobyl and then headed off to bed.   2019 has been a challenging year - here's to a better 2020.
