Bang and not so flash.......

Midnight in Welli and the celebrations happen around the Harbourside and we (The Boss, Bossess and ME) found a great sheltered spot to watch one of the best displays we have seen. 
After breakfast we decided to go staggering to The Red Rocks which is a spot on the south  coast and was chosen because there was a brisk Northerly wind blowing that was carrying the smoke from the Australian fires and changing the Color of the sun. WE figured it should be sheltered. BUT it also borders the bit called Cooks Straight which is between the North and South islands and things were NSF...(Not so flash)
We walked all the way and nearly got blown flat several times BUT then we had to walk back. Errr yes. 
The day finished with the Bat Car (e Golf) going through a car wash, The Boss and Bossess going through the shower and even ME Tiny getting the salt spray sponged off.  Extra to give you a bit of an idea.
