I've got the t-shirt

MONDAY

Apologies for the lateness of this blip, but I was up in the early hours rescuing Harriet whose car wouldn't start for her. It started immediately as soon as I turned up.

Our usual garage was closed for the holidays, so we took her car to Black Brook Garage - they have good reviews. They gave it a full once over, diagnostic check and fitted a new brake light. Apparently the cause was some oil on the starter motor. Apart from £2 for the brake light bulb they didn't want to charge us for the labour - amazing!

Harriet and I had a trip to Huddersfield to get late Christmas presents. Two new pairs of running socks for me and a pair of Brooks running shoes for Hats.

This evening we saw Harriet set back off to Nottingham - the drive took her less than two hours. We've had a lovely time in her company. The house is not the same without her.

Nine days ago I achieved my 50th Parkrun. The t-shirt arrived in the post this morning.
