Braving the Storm

Dear Diary,
 
Still snowing and it is expected to continue most of today too. 9-10 inches of the white stuff by the time it ends.  There will be a lot of digging out for Matt to do.  This little sparrow is bravely facing the storm, all puffed up but filled with warming seeds.  Thankfully, it has been a "gentle" storm.  The ice they were predicting did not occur and all systems are still a go this morning.  Hooray!  It is a winter wonderland out there this morning.  Just beautiful.  A two day snow storm is a perfect way to end 2019.  Enjoy the festivities tonight.  Louisa May and I will have a quiet New Years Eve.
