Beach Life

Of course we would never and couldn't spend the whole day on the beach, but an hour and a half in the morning opposite Santa Clara, in the shade, and then another 30' at the end of the day at the far end of Copacabana after our lunch in La Fiorentina. Most of the fun for us is people watching and on the busiest beach day of the year, there was lots to see!  Walked to La Fiorentina there and back and so managed to clock up over 10,000 steps by the end of the day. A siesta and then some Yatzee in the evening on the Tipicamente terrace up the road. We're enjoying some of the travel programmes by Romesh Ranganathan - the one on the Sahara and the Arctic were very funny and we finished the day with those.
