Mono Monday - Portrait (Low key)

In the absence of any human guinea-pigs for today's mono portrait challenge, Minty stepped up to the plate. To be honest, he didn't really have any say in the matter as he was half-asleep in his bed at the time, but he didn't object, bless him. 

I used the low key setting on my camera, but I'm not too sure if the effect was successful.

It has been a pleasant day weather-wise today with some blue in the sky a welcome change from the grey - see extra, taken on our walk this afternoon.
