Not a real deer...

...sadly, but this wicker deer looked lovely in the low sun this morning.  B, A and I took ourselves off to Pensthorpe for a winter walk.  Some of the paths are closed due to flooding and the remaining perimeter paths were rather muddy.  The extra is a photo of the low light in their lovely 'Wave' garden, which is a really pretty woodland garden where the snowdrops will soon be making an appearance.  Despite the mud it was a lovely walk, subjects discussed...Christmas TV, how much food we have leftover, (and when the diets start) and fold-up bicycles!  
We rounded off the walk with a coffee and a cake before braving the crowds at Morrison's for a food shop.
A most enjoyable morning.
