Sunshine over Eachill Gardens.

These bungalows are rented out by Hyndburn Homes for the elderly in Rishton. People live independently and cook for themselves, but there is a great sense of community spirit and they have various craft activities and talks.Each little home has access to a  shared gardened area and the lawns are trimmed regularly.
I pass this way to go to the post box on Walmsley Avenue and it was lovely to see the sunshine, although it is overcast again now.
I have done a lot of washing and ironing this morning since returning from our visit to family. I am missing them so much, but we took quite a few lovely photos for the family collection.
I call today the Eve of New Year's Eve and I wish it could be a very enjoyable time for everyone.
