Paul opening a Christmas present.

We visited my family in Shirley, Croydon after Christmas.
This is why Paul is opening this present at my sister's house.
We had a 7 and a half hour journey there, due to road works and traffic congestion and had to queue up to get out of the services at Bromsgrove, it was so fully.parked. This took 20 minutes or so.
We had a lovely time with my sister's family and D made a fantastic buffet for us and my Mum. 
We also met up with Paul's Mum and Dad and went for a meal with them at The Seven Stars in Leigh. The weather was mild and sunny with a beautiful sunset as we jouneyed North.
The journey home took just under four hours and it is nice to be home to Arthur. My good friend Lynn always feeds him while we are away.
Arthur was very energetic and happy to see us again and there were lots of contented purrs.
