Mixed Light

Today didn't feel like Christmas at all, it was another warm and sunny day. Previous years have been snowy and very cold, so no complaints. I went out during the late morning and chose the woods to avoid the harsh light. I found a nice group of mossy rocks and spent some time finding a pleasing composition.

Using a wide focal length created an interesting perspective which enlarged the foreground rock. I liked the main light coming in from the lower right over my shoulder picking out a few sun spots.However there was also some cool light from more open ground beyond the top of the frame casting light on the far side of the rocks.
