Mossgiel Gardens

Martins parents have been living in the same ‘3 apartment’ (meaning 2 bedroom) house for 50 years.  It was here they brought up their two boys.  It was fine when the boys were young as they shared a room, but when Martin was 12 he was moved out of the room he shared with Tom (his older brother) and into this space over the stairs that had been a cupboard!  The family had ingeniously converted it into a bedroom with a concertina style door to maximise the space.

However, as you can see it wasn’t very big.  Sam had not seen this before today and was seriously impressed.
