Boxing Day

Today is normally duck race day in the village, but it wasn’t advertised. It would have been very risky with the recent high water on the Fossdyke, as it is managed by canoeists on the water.

We have had a quiet day. A late brunch with R before she headed off to the gym, then home. I watched a selection of programmes on TV this afternoon whilst finishing hand sewing the binding on R’s quilt.

Programmes have included the Bee Gees, Roy Orbison, Secret life of pets......the Dambusters!!! Sounds a weird assortment, but most interesting.
