Annular eclipse

This was almost as much of the sun that was covered as Malaysia is just off the main track of the eclipse. Although it was cloudy I managed not to drop the phone over the balcony. It was also possible to track it live on the website.

Elsewhere the girls woke up sick this morning or being sick. Parents went to work and they went back to bed. However, a full recovery seems to have taken place and all is well now. Less well with me. I stupidly almost cut the top off my left thumb, cutting bread. Amelia has blown on it though so it should get better soon. There was quite a lot of blood though.

We have no leftovers so a trip to Jaya will be needed later. Boxing Day!
