Christmas Feast

We woke and opened gifts with Chris - the kids were excited and grateful...lovely to see!
After that we were straight on with cooking...between us and a little team we cooked lunch for 50 plus meals for the 10 kids.
As usual the day was wonderful...lots of people, lots of laughs! We took loads of clothes and shoes too and laid them out nicely - lots of stuff went and people seemed to enjoy trying things on and choosing bits and bobs.
We were there from 1,30-6...the homeless guys helped us pack down and bring everything home.
I’m absolutely shattered tonight...danny and Chris have impressive stamina and have popped out for a nightcap - I’m heading to bed!

Today I’m grateful for;
1) Watching the kids open gifts and seeing their faces light up.
2) Shared Christmas...so much joy...so many wonderful conversations...such a sense of community.
3) The significance of today - grateful for the birth of Jesus.
