Early morning in NYC

I woke up early this AM to head to my work function and decided to walk the mile to the event. I love getting out in the fresh air and watching the golden sunlight in the morning. I also felt that I needed to blip a more scenic shot than my sake picture from last night.

As I was wandering around Cooper Square, this building caught my eye. I love the linear lines, the golden lighting and the blue sky. The image is slightly distorted due to the wide angle from the G10 and the upwards view. I could fix it in Photoshop with the skew command, but I think that it adds to the image.


No Photoshopping here, just basic saturation, contrast, brightness and white balance.
