Troodos Massif
Well blippers, don't ever complain that I don't take you anywhere, as today we headed to the very highest point on Cyprus; Mt Olympus in the Troodos Mountains, which is 1,952 metres high. Mark and our friend John spent a few hours skiing and snowboarding, while I wandered around, taking photos, and enjoying the beautiful snowy landscape and lovely sunshine. I bought a "round ticket" for the chair lift up to the highest point, which is where this blip was taken from - you can just see John and Mark making their way down the run. Just behind me is a huge golf-ball shaped RAF radar, which I find quite fascinating.
A wonderful day out, and a much needed rest from work.
