Dogs are funny creatures
I had two shots I liked from today. This one, and the other one was of the construction site near my work I took yesterday. Too many construction shots I've posted (seriously, that's all that goes on around my town), so let's go with something different today. On my way back from lunch, I saw this dog just running around the streets. I tried snapping a few shots, and this last one was the one I liked best.
Anyways, dogs are one of those little things that are different between my home country America and here in Japan. It's funny how they're similar, yet massively different. In America, every dog I've ever run into is just looking for attention and to be pet. Walk into a house and the dog runs up to you, tail wagging, begging to be pet and played with. Here, walk into a house, the dog (usually a little yapper dog) runs up, stops just short of you, and then proceeds to bark at you for however long you're there. Even this dog, running around enjoying himself, but as I got close, he started approaching me, and when I bent down to see if he'd let me pet him, he stepped back and started growling. Happens every time. I miss a dog I can just relax and play with.
