Friendship Renewed

Last preparations for the arrival of the house guests today.  

Then we went over to Melrose to say hello to the contingent installed there. The house has a first floor sitting room with an open fire and views of the hills. It has been declared an adults only zone, leaving the rest of the house for the cousins to rampage around. Luckily it is large, solid and a bit shabby, so I don't think they can do much harm. Although ... last night they had a midnight feast, and the chocolate for the roulade has mysteriously disappeared. 

When we got back, daughter A had arrived. Little N lost no time getting reacquainted with Douggie. Percy made himself scarce.

Tomorrow, we're all meeting up here and heading over to Harestanes to visit Santa's grotto. Must remember to pick up the turkey on the way!
