Banana Bike

We arrived in Dar es Salaam last night just before midnight and spent the day in meetings. One of the meetings (the one where we tried to see the Minister of Finance so that he could give us a tax waiver to build a children's village) was in town. Our journey was not fruitful as the Minister was not in the office. Another day!

On the way back to our office, my colleague stopped to buy fruit from the guys on the side of the road. Apparently they set up shop on the back of their bicycles. I couldn't resist this photo. Mangoes and bananas were the goods for sale and they all looked delicious...I will tell you later how they tasted.
