A normal Saturday

Lazy start accompanied by a bacon and egg sandwich- delish! Headed off to the supermarket along the railway path - took the long way round and walked just under 3 miles instead of the usual 1.

Miss PHL came to meet me with the car which was lucky as I had quite a lot of items in the trolley before she arrived.

Home again to get started on a chicken bake for dinner. Whilst it was cooking I thought I’d better decorate the cake - with a little help from Miss PHL who is much more artistic than me. Not too bad a job I think?

Extras are a gorgeous little bird (anyone know what it is?) and the road to nowhere on the railway path. I always wonder why it was tarmac’d!
