Santa at Wallington

We met #2 daughter and family at Wallington. James brought his rugby ball so they were both filthy in 5 minutes with all the tackling in the muddy ground. We got down to the train for a play before we had to go to the house for our appointment with Santa. The house was beautifully decorated which was lovely to see but a nightmare to stop James touching stuff.

Santa was really good with lots of chat. He was surprised by the boys’ present requests though - Thomas ages 7 wanted a book about aboriginal art (gasp of horror from daughter as this was the first she’d heard of it) - and santa said James’s request was the most unusual he’d heard - a blue whale and a nutcracker. (Mum knew about this thankfully)
