"Coin Coin"
I have about a week of photos to catch up on and a semi legitimate excuse for not posting for the last 8 days! I was away in Sydney without a computer, as you were forewarned, and then when I got back yesterday I just couldn't be bothered to upload, edit and post a weeks worth of photos. BUT a significant improvement has been made to my tech world so that shouldn't happen again unless I'm in the middle of the desert/ocean/jungle :) More on that later though.
I landed in Sydney after an uneventful hour long flight and just grabbed some lunch and then went over to my friends' house to unload my bags and then headed back into the city to meet up with another few people after they were done work. The place that they are living is only about 10-15 minutes by bus right into the centre so it's really easy and convenient! We went down to Darling Harbour for some $5 Happy Hour Coronas in front of this guy. It's a GIANT yellow rubber duck that's in the harbour as an art installation for Sydney Festival and is appropriately and not so creatively named Rubber Duck. It's 5 stories high and 5 stories wide and has been travelling around the world since 2007. I consider myself quite lucky to have seen such a worldly duck :)
I called this photo "Coin Coin" because I was with a bunch of French people the entire week and that's what ducks say in France instead of "Quack Quack"!
