The Elves go to the Woodlands.

We were blessed with a gorgeous blue skied sunny morning so it was ideal to take the elves on their first adventure to the woodlands.
There were not many people about, so I was spared the embarrassment of having to explain what I was doing for a blipfoto!
The elves loved the trees and the smell of the woodlands. They watched a squirrel scurrying through the leaves and then climb up a tall oak tree.
They were amazed to see a huge black Newfoundland dog being walked through the muddy woods. Another person was walking six dogs, such a lot! They explored the children's playground while there was no one there. They sat in the Council Christmas tree in Turret's Garden and sang a beautiful Elf song of joy.
On the way home they went into the Church garden and climbed the Fatsia plant and said it was the best time ever.
They are now resting in the window, covered with some silver tinsel.

The weather changed soon after we got home, it is cloudy and drizzling. I shall spend some time on blip, Facebook and then Duolingo to catch up on my French group. There will be some housework and cleaning to do as well.
