Past Christmas

I stayed home today and didn’t do much except for a quick trip to the recycling centre to take a lot of cardboard.
Freezing fog on the road alongside the river.
We watched a film on Netflix and now l’m making dinner.
No photographs so it’s a quick shot of an old photograph of me that comes out every year at this time..
Looking at my coat l think l was three, maybe four.
Wonder what my present from Santa was?
Christmas was a strange time for me as a child  - my daddy was in a car accident on Christmas Day when l was two and died two days later on the 27th of December 1951.
