today i have been thinking a lot about changing my work life for the better. there's nothing like a monthly 1:1 to make u think that by time the next one comes along, some progress towards your escape had better be made! tasks set for target related pay rise point system - could not give a flying f**k!
it was good to see karen for lunch - i am so very fond of her and it's always good to catch up with someone really normal (rare in work place!) with their eyes open and feet on the ground. we still can't believe that after all the redundancies and changes that we are still there!
today the guy who i email about biscuits asked me if the codes issued for electrical kit could be replaced by people's names like jeremy and jemimah instead of numbers! what a nutter! i think there may have been something in the air..well the sun was out!
this evening i attempted to start applying for amazing sounding job i am not qualified for..but instead spent it laughing on the phone with anjali! maybe tomorrow eh? :-)
