Whitby

Lots of treats today but best of all is spending time with the men in my life. 

This afternoon we decided to escape the mist and have a ride to the coast. It was a good decision. The tide was out so Jet had a run on the beach. Then up the 199 steps to see the Christmas tree festival in the church and a short walk to see the Abbey.

As we wandered back through the town to the car the light just caught the old town. Just managed this photo before the sun dropped over the valley sides.

Back home and out for a birthday meal this evening. A perfect day.
