I decided to have a quiet day after a hard badminton match last night which we narrowly lost 5-4 against the best team in the league. My mixed double partner and I played the deciding match but we lost it 2-1. Nevertheless, all the games were tight and enjoyable. This afternoon I called in at the surgery to collect a prescription. Santa was in the corner in his makeshift grotto and, being unoccupied, invited Mrs TT to sit on his knee. She obliged and I had my blip for the day.
