A thin place

Holy moly, the wind dropped, the sun came out and everywhere was drenched in light and colour! There were glimpses of other worlds too, spotted in thin places where the water meets the land! This is down at Farranamangh where we went just to admire the water and the wild. It didn't disappoint.
First up though I was traipsing around the garden which was gently steaming - first extra the Fairy Walk - actually I shouldn't call it that for they prefer to be known as The Good People or the LIttle People and you have to keep in their good books.
We went into Skibbereen to do some last minute shopping and I was severely distracted and purchased - two things for myself! Oops that wasn't meant to happen but how could you resist the shop person offering 20% off! I might have a nice summer frock for the wedding of the year next April In New Zealand and Christmassy tunic thingy for now.
On the way home, a quick blip of the estuary looking magnificent in the sunshine, and finally to Farranamanagh - see the whole view of the lake in the extra. You might have to be very eagle-eyed but there's an alpaca in there too! Russett being the colour of the day.
I think my sentence construction has gone to pot, it's the shock of the light!
