Candle decoration

A surprise delivery today. We received a beautiful table decoration of fresh foliage, orchids and silver leaves, with a candle to be lit at the centre.

This lovely gift was from friends who we havent seen for a long time.

Another day when I havent left the house. I've kept myself busy - making soup, continuing with my online Christmas greeting, and having phone chats with the lovely Macmillan nurse who is based at the hospital. Although I still have some pain and am very tired, I feel more positive and looking forward to the planned outings later in the week.
