A very wet day

We were orienteering in Wombwell Woods, near Barnsley in South Yorkshire. There had been, and still was a lot of wet weather and the ground was sodden making for extremely slippery conditions on the slopes, especially where the quad bikes and motor cross bikes had been busy. Parking was on the canal side where there were a couple of hardy fishermen quietly sitting on the bank sides.
