Sunset over Sydney

(Back blip) Well I left Bomaderry station this morning and got the train to Sydney (my friends had to go to a long planned family reunion) and then a taxi to the ship. So I am now on board and reunited with my darling daughter for the next month.

We left Sydney this evening and sailed under the bridge (we were moored at Barangaroo passenger terminal as a larger cruise ship had the plum spot by the Opera House. But at least that meant that we sailed under the Sidney Bridge, which was magical. I bet it's even better entering the harbor. I hadn't realised how far it is to get out to sea. This photo was taken just as we had completely exited the harbor and were off out to sea. I looked back and there was the most beautiful sunset with the Sydney skyline silhouetted against it. The start of an exciting month long adventure. I am sooooooo EXCITED!
