Saturday was my God-daughter's 21st birthday and I drove down to Lancaster for the celebration.
As she was working during the day it meant I could have a relatively lazy morning before hitting the road. Given the pretty awful weather - sunshine and showers, driving hail and occasional snow flurries - I was glad to be able to make the journey in (so-called) daylight.
However a good time was had by all, and it was good to catch up with the family.
The photo shows the birthday girl along with her mother and grandmother.
