Blue Moon

Well actually this isn't a blue moon (to my knowledge), but it was a wonderfully clear moon first thing this morning. When I edited it and reduced the highlights to see the detail of the moon's surface, I got a nice deep blue sky to show it off. I think it's amazing we can see the moon so clearly through only a 400mm lens (with a bit of editing), it's so beautiful. 

I got the Blu-Ray Apollo 11 recently which was released in this 50th anniversary year. It simply comprises of 65mm colour footage and audio recordings, no documentary voice over, and I'd really recommend it.
