It's not how I would have chosen to spend my lunch-hour, but it would justify eating lots of calories afterwards.

I had a lovely short-notice visit from my granddaughter and her partner this afternoon. She's 23 now and it's the first time she's visited since she used to come and stay during the holidays more than ten years ago. They've become very interested in aquaria and had just collected an axolotl from a breeder in Durham. It's not an afternoon that I could have foretold in any way yesterday!
