Stenness reflections (Day 1677)

A dry, chilly woofer wander in the dark this morning, then off out to collect some stuff and make a start on a shower room re-fit near Kirkwall.
I had the old shower tray, enclosure wet wall and shower out in around an hour and a half, then spent hours breaking concrete away from the old shower waste so that I will be able to connect the new waste to the pipework. A bit of a frustrating (and messy) delay. After lunch I got the old plasterboard off. Tomorrow I will get first fix done for the new shower and hopefully get new plasterboard on and the shower tray in. If I am very lucky.
I had an electric shower to swap at Brodgar and the reflections on the Loch of Stenness when I was on the way home were worth a quick phone shot.
Time to relax on the couch with  my beautiful wife now.
