FINE TUNING

The 2019 Moth World Sailing Championships are being held in Perth this week, not your ordinary Moth Yacht as these have hydrofoils.  Hydrofoils have been in use for twenty years.  
I was wanting to capture some of them close up - they were way off and were gunning it as you can see with the yacht lifted out of the water exposing the hydrofoils.
In extras is one Moth scooting along and the guy in the power boat only just keeping up.  
I was reliably informed by the official on the gate at the yacht club that competition is due to start on Wednesday, wind dependent.
I may venture back for another look later in the week.

Another early start tomorrow as our daughter is away for work and I am on duty to marshal Angus and Scarlett for school - early to bed tonight.
