Wobbly Lafawnda

We took this poor wee girl up to the vet this morning, thankfully our own vet was in. Lafawnda has lost weight, 200g, she only weighed 1.3kg to begin with so it’s a lot. She seems to have more balance issues today and I turning in a circle. When Ingeborg put her on her back and back up she developed nystagmus, a classic sign of head tilt. She’s had a steroid injection, antibiotics, motility drugs and a course of anti parasite medication to treat e cuniculi, the most common cause of head tilt. Poor wee girl is much more wobbly today, it’s not nice to see her fall over when she tries to walk.
