Dolly at Buckingham Palace

It was a gorgeous morning in London, although a few clouds did appear by lunchtime. A spot more sightseeing on my lunch break, Buckingham Palace today and a nice walk back alongside St James Park. Good day, very interesting especially when I got to meet a lady who had an LVAD, an implanted device that helps the heart pump blood round the body. Because of the way it works she does not have a pulse and you can't check her blood pressure in the normal way either, it's fascinating. She has lived with it for two years as a bridge to transplant, hopefully a heart will be available for her soon. Home now, always nice to come back to Lewis and the buns.
