Inevitable.

This morning there'd been a light layer of snow overnight, but other than that nothing all day - until I left work tonight. As I drove home the initially light snow became heavier and heavier, until by half-way it was quite unpleasant to drive in. By the time I arrived there was about 2". As dinner was cooking I grabbed this shot as a blip. Now (at 10:30 pm) it's about 4".

I guess the big freeze was inevitable ....
