Friday: Lit Up

Not that you can tell from this photo, but we’re in Whistler.

I spent the morning doing more interviews, following which K. came to meet me early afternoon.  We drove up to Whistler on a route that became increasingly snowy and sleety (it was nice, though).

We are up to attend the premiere of ‘Liberté: A Call To Spy’ , an American movie about some of the female spies in WW2’s SOE.  We were familiar with the history but it still makes for a really interesting movie.  It wasn’t bad, if a little corny in parts.  Afterwards, I spent a bit of time chatting to the writer and lead actress, Sarah Megan Thomas, who was the one who invited us, via colleagues in New York.   I always wish I had the courage to ask for a picture, although I did get some of us together.
