What do you mean, it's not a fish???

This morning G and I went to a xmas fair at Wells Maltings. I bought some blackberry jam, a trinket box and a felt xmas mouse. Beforehand we took our cameras down to the seafront, but the tide was very low and the sky was very dull, so there was not a lot worth photographing. G spotted this gull with a starfish. She says its a juvenile herring gull, so maybe that's why it's chosen an odd meal.

Starfish Facts
- they are more correctly called sea stars as they are not fish
- they are Echinoderms and related to sea urchins and sea cucumbers
- they can regenerate arms
- they move using tube feet
