What a lovely day:-

to Fly

I am frequently asked the question "Do bees hibernate in winter?"

In cold weather the bees remain in the hive and they do not fly.  If it is really cold they will start to form a cluster in the hive and about the size of a football.  The colder it is the tighter the cluster becomes.

They do not hibernate.  Like us all, on a fine sunny day, they like to have a trip outside for a breath of fresh air.

If you look closely you will see the tiny specks of gold/silver as the bees are caught in the sun's rays.
